2 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 cup low-carb ketchup (I used Heinz 1 carb brand)
1/3 cup Splenda
1 tsp chili powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
½ tablespoon salt
¾ tablespoon cayenne pepper
½ tsp pepper
Directions: Combine Ingredients and simmer covered for about 20 minutes.
Cool mixture and refrigerate until needed.
2/3 cup hot pepper sauce (Frank’s Red-hot)
½ cup cold unsalted butter
1 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
¼ Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Pinch of salt
Combine ingredients and simmer covered for about 20 minutes. Cool mixture and refrigerate until needed
Combine the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a pot and place over medium heat.
Bring to a simmer while stirring with a whisk. As soon as the liquid bubbles on the sides of the pot, remove the mixture from heat and set aside for use.
